Maintenance Question! Please help

Post by gwagoo » Fri Jul 08, 2011 8:00 pm

Hi guys, I know you need £800 in the account for 90 consecutive days.. My issue is I have had the money from the 6th of May.. And I plan to print online statements and get them stamped from the bank dated till the 7th of July (next month). I read on the UKBA site guidance that this would suffice. I will also get the official letter UKBA requires from the bank validating the statements and balance for the period from 6th May to 7th July. Would this suffice? I don't have any posted statements from the bank.
Thanks

If you are printing online statements to get stamped in the bank they must also have the bank's logo on. Most online bank statements don't so perhaps do a test now with your current statements. Who do you bank with?

Lloyds TSB! I did a check right now, it has the logo, my name, address, account number and sort code on the online statement that can be printed. As long as I get that stamped at the branch and an original letter on a Lloyds letterhead I should be safe right?

lloyds tsb statements are fine. You don't need a letter from the bank if you have them stamped.
