English Course/Life in Uk test

Hi,

Can anyone please let me know that if the ILR is due in december 2011, then can the applicant do the esol/life in uk test now for application purposes or does it need to be done near the application date?

You can take the Life in the UK test whenever you feel you're ready.
You may not have time to complete an approved ESOL course if you haven't started yet as you have to progress from one level to the next.
