ILR WP 5 years, sole proprieter or LTD company

Hi

My friend is on WP and will apply for ilr in oct. the question is on his WP letter the name of company is XYZ, no mention of LTD company. but his company is registered as limited company. one of our accountant friend said that there is a lot of difference in it. if it is without LTD then the WP was issued to sole proprietor, plus the accounts and other things are also different for the two.

If this is the case then what should he do now ?? WP issued on sole proprietor and working in LTD company.

Was the company limited at the time WP application was sponsored?
