Possible Sponsor For Funding?

Post by spacefox » Tue Aug 16, 2011 1:32 am

Hi all,

I am kind of doing this last minute, because I was supposed to be doing a Masters degree which has now kind of gone down the drain, so I'll be trying (hoping!) to apply for a PSW visa..

I'll have to apply outside of the UK because my student visa expires really soon.

Therefore, the money I have to hold is 2800 pounds.

My question is -- since when you apply as a student, your parent/guardian has the right to support you as long as you provide a birth certificate/copy of their passport/their bank statement + a letter confirming they fund your studies.. Is this a possibility for a PSW? A letter from my father that claims he will be supporting me throughout my PSW visa period followed by bank statements in his name?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
