i have entered UK as a general visitor for 6 months stay, i would like to know if i can extend my stay here or switch my stay to allow me to study here. I am have qualifications from overseas that i would like to expand on here in the UK. I have full financial support in order to do this, could you please advise me if this would be possible? what would i need to do ?

Not possible, you cannot switch from visitor to any other visa.
