Tier 2 Dependent Visa

My father holds a Tier 2 work visa, valid in the UK until 2013. I am currently studying at university, about to enter my second year. I am here on a Tier 2 Dependent visa, also valid until 2013. However, my father just got a job offer in Canada, and would be leaving the country. Can I stay in the country on my Tier 2 dependent visa if he is no longer here? Thank you!
