Tier 2 ICT Visa clarifications

I have a few queries regarding the new rules (post April 6, 2011) for the TIER 2 ICT (Intra Company Transfer) Visa.

1. On the Tier 2 guidance file, page 7, Section 31 states “Time spent in the UK as a Tier 2 (Intra-Company Transfer: Graduate Trainee) or Tier 2 31.(Intra-Company Transfer: Skills Transfer) will not count towards the 12 months’ company experience required for the Tier 2 (Intra-Company Transfer: Long Term Staff). “

Does this mean that the time spent as a Tier 2 (Intra-Company Transfer: Graduate Trainee) or Tier 2 31.(Intra-Company Transfer: Skills Transfer) will count towards 12 month experience for Tier 2 (Intra-Company Transfer: Short Term Staff)

2. Again referring to the same guidance paragraph “Time spent in the UK as a Tier 2 (Intra-Company Transfer: Graduate Trainee) or Tier 2 31.(Intra-Company Transfer: Skills Transfer) will not count towards the 12 months’ company experience required for the Tier 2 (Intra-Company Transfer: Long Term Staff). “
