Return of docs

Hi,

I applied for my tier 1 general extension on Aug 12th.

Can somebody tell me how do the UK Boarder Agency send the documents back?

What happens in case when there is no body available at the address to sign the documents delivery?

all docs + passport -> Royal Mail 2nd Class recorded
residence permits -> secure mail

Does anybody know, what happens if there is nobody at home to sign the deliver? Will he put the documents in my mail box?
