Hi, I am currently on a work permit sponsored by my employer. So I was thinking that if I was going to change my job with my future employer willing to sponsor another work permit for me would it be possible for me to:

1) Apply for the new work permit while being in the UK?
2) Would the new consultation of not giving the work permit holders eligible for a Passport in 2016 still apply to me considering I have already spent 3 years on my current work permit?
3) Would the break between my jobs still count towards my continuity period in the UK?

Additionally, I wanted to confirm if any of my paid holidays count towards the 180 day limit within 5 years for the ILR or not?
