ILR Success Sheffield PEO: - WP+Tier 1

Hello Folks,

I got my ILR @ Sheffield PEO yesterday !

Here is how it went.

Landed in UK with a work permit : 22 Oct-2006
Immigration history: WP1 (spent three years) + WP1 extension + WP2( valid for five years) + Tier 1 ( switched for ease of mind)

Went to Sheffield PEO courtesy Google maps not far from rail or bus station just a fair walk 10 minutes ( if you not keep looking at maps). Remember it is on the right when you come out of rail station. Had 11.30 appointment reached the airport type security – belt off, shoes –off, mobile phone ( take battery off) …frisked .. was let go in the end to me let write this thing which I was so eager to …because this forum helped me a lot !!

Security ask me to report to window 7 (reception) she asked “do you have appointment with us, sir ?â€

Thanks for the post , this really helps.
One question. Whether the work permit that you had was it a MEWP (Work Permit with Multiple Entry written inside the box in the A4 sheet work permit - valid for 2 years)?
