1. Since the last 9 months I have been self employed.
2. I was on a contract before the 9 months.
Reading the guidance should help - http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitec ... idance.pdf point number 160 and 161. Point 161 gives a further link to Dependants guidance. I hope this helps.girish1428 wrote:Many thanks again.
Regarding the same discussion, could you also let me know the documents needed to be shown by my dependant (my wife), please?
We both will apply together in 1 envelope.
She is working in the UK on a permanent role and gets salary monthly.
Also read 90 from the PBS (Dependants) Policy Guidance:girish1428 wrote:Some more text which made me ask the above question:
1. Any dependants wishing to join the main applicant must also provide evidence that they have access to suffi cient funds. Please refer to the Dependants guidance which can be found on our website at: http://www.ukba.homeoffi ce.gov.uk/workingintheuk/. Where the main applicant’s application is
made at the same time as applications by the partner or child of the main applicant, each applicant must have the total requisite funds specifi ed in the relevant parts of Appendices C and E of the Immigration Rules. If each applicant does not individually meet the requirements of Appendices C and / or E,
as appropriate, all the applications (the application by the Relevant Points Based System Migrant and applications as the partner or child of that elevant Points Based System Migrant) will be refused.
I fall under the 2nd example mentioned in point 45. In my case my wife is working and has a bank account but didn't have enough funds in her bank for the last 3 months. However I have £800 + £533 + more for more than last 3 months. In this case, can she still apply or would the application be rejected because she does not have enough funds ?
Should be ok to use your account as long as the statements meet the usual requirements. From the Tier 1 General Guidance see point 160 which says:I fall under the 2nd example mentioned in point 45.
