2 year family visit visa

2 year family visit visa

Hi !

My parents have been visiting us on a family visitor visa for last three years. They have always applied for a 6 months visa. They want to apply for a 2 year visa this time to avoida the hassle. I have 2 queries:

1. They will be going back to INdia in end of October but have to apply for a visa in 1st week of december as we have a family function in UK in January. Is it adviseable to apply in such short time??

2. What kind of sponsorship documents we should be providing and what documents should they attach.
