booking a biometric appointment

Hi guys,

I got a letter from home office to get a biometric appointment for the Tier 1 post study visa. I wanted to know how do we book an appointment online. what is the ID for the biometric appointment as I cant Identify it from the list given

EEA 1 (FMOP) - Applications for a registration certificate by Economic Area (EEA) or Swiss nationals residing in the UK and their EEA or Swiss national family members.

FLR(BID) - Application for an extension of stay in the UK as an academic visitor, as a domestic worker in a private household, on the grounds of your UK ancestry, as a visitor for private medical treatment, or as a dependant of a person which has limited leave to enter or remain in the UK as confirmed in a biometric immigration document.

FLD(IED) - Application for leave to remain in the United Kingdom as a work permit holder.

FLR(M) - Application for an extension of stay in the UK as the partner of a person present and settled in the UK.

FLR(O) - Application for leave to remain in the United Kingdom as a visitor, overseas qualified nurse or midwife, Private Servant in a Diplomatic household, Dependant of exempt HM Armed Forces, Long Residence or for other purposes/reasons not covered by another application form.

NTL - Application for a No Time Limit stamp by someone who already has indefinite leave to enter or remain in the UK.

PBS T1 - Application for leave to remain in the United Kingdom as a Tier 1 (General) migrant.

PBS T1 post study work - Application for leave to remain in the United Kingdom as a Tier 1 (Post Study Work) migrant.

PBS T2 - Application for leave to remain in the UK as Tier 2 sponsored skilled worker.

PBS T4 - Application for leave to remain in the UK as a Tier 4 Student

PBS T5 - Application for leave to remain in the UK as a Tier 5 (Temporary Worker).

SET(F) under 18 - Application for permanent residence in the United Kingdom as a family member of a permanent resident.

SET(M) - Application for permanent residence in the United Kingdom as the husband, wife, civil partner or unmarried/same-sex partner of a permanent resident.

SET(O) - Application for permanent residence in the United Kingdom in an employment or other category listed on the form.

TOC - Application for a transfer of conditions (TOC) stamp and a biometric immigration document by someone who already has limited leave to enter or remain in the UK



if anyone could help me with this it would be great.

Ever since UKBA has redesigned the online booking procedures, the service ID for "biometrics appointment" has not been included ... perhaps an oversight that UKBA has failed to notice till date.

So, book by phone.
