Child Benefit

hi,
I applied for child benefit in end of Jul'11 however still waiting for HO decision. I recived my documents back in aug 1st week but no decision on Child benefit. I called to HO and understand it is still in consideration.
Note - I got ILR in Jun'11.
any idea how long it will take.
please advice.

If you are still waiting, I think you would be perfectly justified in contacting your MP and asking him/her to chase HMRC on your behalf.
