tier 1 dependent - maintenance of funds question

Hi,

I've a tier 1 visa and I would be traveling to UK next month. I want to apply dependent visa for my wife. I've a question regarding the maintenance of funds. My wife doesn't have sufficient funds in her account, but I do. I read in appendix E of policy guidelines that,

the funds in question must be available to:

(i) the applicant, or

(ii) where he is applying as the partner of a Relevant Points Based System Migrant, either to him or to that Relevant Points Based System Migrant,

From what I understand from (ii) is that it's enough if I provide evidence from my bank account. But I would like to confirm if my understanding is correct or should the funds be maintained in my wife's account.

Can be from your (the relevant PBS migrant's) bank account. Can be from her account. You have the choice.
