Marriage Visitor Visa

Post by amydg87 » Mon Oct 24, 2011 4:28 pm

Hello
I am from England but I have a house and a job in the Republic of ireland. In April next year I am planning to marry my American boyfried in England with a Mariage Visitor visa. After the wedding I will move back to the republic of ireland with him and then we will apply for a EEA family permit so he can live with me in ireland. Does anyone see any problems with this plan? We wont be staying in the uk after the wedding but I am afraid that with the ROI being in a common travel zone and with him not returning to the usa to live they will deny us the visa.

thankyou
Amy
