Tier 1 General

Post by neelijasmin » Fri Oct 28, 2011 7:50 pm

Hi Friends,

I'm bit confused and kindly need your opinions please. I'm on a PSW visa which runs out in Jan 2012 and I work for bank for full time since last one year and getting less than £20k and my employer does not wish to sponsor me.

Now, I had few conversations with one of the immigration consultant in London who's saying that even though the employer does not want to sponsor me but can still give the unrestricted certificate of sponsorship with which I can apply for extension but I have no idea what that is.

So I've contacted my bank's internal immigration department and they said my role and my salary does not qualify for the Tier 1 general.

Do you guys have any idea what is my situation now?? whether can I go with the immigration consultant or just leave it as my bank does not want to give the CoS???

I'm pretty confused friends and need your opinions please.

Thanks in advance.

Neelijasmin.

I believe you wish to apply for leave as Tier 2 (General) migrant ... and not Tier 1 (General) migrant.
Life isn't fair, but you can be!

If your employer does not wish to sponsor you then obviously they will not issued you with a certificate of sponsorship.

How much have you paid this 'immigration consultant' for these 'conversations'
