Application in Person - Croydon

Hi all,

Is there anyone who applied in person these days and didn't get an answer same day?

We applied on 14 November 11 in Croydon. We followed all steps as requested: paid fees, submitted docs, provided biometric data.

There was a connection problem between Croydon and somewhere else...so they couldn't verify our beometric information and as a result we didn't get a final decision same day which we paid for (600£ more than by post).

So.....we wait for final answer, we wait for passports, we wait for visas.....

No idea what to think...........but 600£ paid for "Same day result"

PEO application is not equal to "same day result". It just means you apply in person rather than by post. UKBA will try to give you a decision on that day but this is not guaranteed.

Phew! UKBA called today with appoligies and told that passports were sent to us today and visas will come within 5 days as per procedure.
