passport missing

hi guys,

i sent my application on 28th june. i have not received my passport back. i called home office 1 week back. they said my passport was missing and they are checking for it. it has been 1 week. i have to go home on mid of august. iam not getting what to do. feeling nervous. any one who know the idea please send me.

do the home office check the(contents) documents and passport before fee processing? i am getting doubt whether it missed in home office or i missed some where.

very sorry to hear this. have you sent application for hsmp extension ??
did you thoroughly checked all the documents enclosed including passport while applying ? if it is missed by HO, inform them of your travel requirements, i assume they might help you.
