Direct SET(M), or FLR(M) then SET(M), or SET(O)?

Post by lionfly » Tue Nov 22, 2011 3:14 pm

Hi there,

I was on Tier 1, and got ILR in 02/2011, via the 10 years route. My wife is still on Tier 1 dependant visa, expiry in 06/2012, still far away.

She has been on my dependant visa for more than 10 years (Student dependant, Work Permit dependant, Tier 1 dependant).

1. Can she apply for ILR with 10 years residence on a string of "Dependant" visas?

2. She has been on my "dependant" visa for more than 10 years, whether it covers the 2 years requirement for SET(M)? i.e. Can she directly use SET(M) to get ILR? or have to change to FLR(M) for ANOTHER 2 years, then SET(M)?

Hope to get your help. Thanks!
