hsmp tier 1 refused /appeal granted

my hsmp tier 1 general was refused and i have recieved confirmation on 23rd nov. i have only got 9 days left to submit an appeal .it was refused on the basis of less income showed by the accountant where as i have still got running contracs for the next year and i run a sole properitor marketing firm.
my question is can i submit new evidence with the appeal or should i go for a new application n can anyone suggest who to see for this matter.
i submitted my case for 1st extension after 3 yrs i-e 22/11/2008.........21/10/2010

so can i go for an appeal n thn move in new application and let the court know tht i dn wnt to move forward with an appeal
