I need to ask a few questions regarding sponsoring a family visitor. I am a British citizen and would like to invite my mother (she lives in PK) to visit my myself and my family in the UK. I have the following questions:
- The house I live in is jointly owned by my brother in law and my wife. We pay the mortgage and my brother in law has nothing to do with the house apart from his name being on the mortgage papers. If my wife writes a letter of no objection, would that be sufficient? All the bills are on her name however we have council tax on my name and my wife's name.
- Also, if we only include council tax bill, would that be sufficient to show we have accommodation available to us? How important is the mortgage document? We can include mortgage document but then they might ask for a no objection certificate from my brother in law too?
- Apart from my current account statements, I have funds available in a web saver too. I do not get paper statements for this account however my bank has given me transaction details on a paper which is not letter headed but it has the bank stamp on it? Would that be ok? I have also printed my bank statements of my internet bank account myself? Would that cause any problems?
- Do I need to provide all documents in original or can I also give photo copies?]
