Tier 2 (ICT) dependent visa - Info required please

Post by kk4krish » Tue Dec 13, 2011 11:43 pm

Background - Myself & my wife are having Tier 2 (ICT) valid visa. My visa was issued in INDIA and my wife's visa got extended till this July in UK. I am looking to know more details about following 2 questions.

1) Is there a possibility that my wife can change her Tier 2 (ICT) visa to Tier 2 General category, with in UK? If so, what is the process.

2) Now my Tier 2 (ICT) visa extension is in process. In this period, can I raise a seperate dependent visa change request for my wife?

1. No.
2. When does your wife's current leave due to expire?

Thank you for your reply.

My wife's current Tier 2 ICT visa get expires in July 2012. But my Tier 2 ICT extension process starts now, so is it possible to change my wife's current Tier 2 ICT visa to my dependent visa with in UK?

The change can only be done from outside the UK. She may do it anytime after you are granted new leave and before her current leave expires - her choice.
