Got name wrong on my Visa

Hi There,

I am a little bit worried about my visa application done for tier 1 general extension. Actually, I applied for Tier 1 ( general ) extension on 19 Nov this year and i was sent the bio metric letter on 29 november but on bio metric letter my name was wrong. It was Rahmat Ahmad but actual name is Rehmt ahmad so just got "a" inplace of "e". actually i realised this mistake when I was filling out the tier 1 extension form becasue on my tier 1 visa same name is printed and same name is on the first page of my passport but has been corrected on third page. So actually what happened, my friend filled out my initial form and put down the name given on the first page of the passport without looking into the third page and home office gave me the visa with that name. I know I must have done it corrected but never found it as its just a letter difference and when filling up the form for extension i realised it but it was too late to get it corrected so I applied it for extension thkining it would be corrected over the process of visa extension but when they sent me bio metric letter and I called them up and let them know about it and they said they would re issue me another letter with correct name but its been over a week and no letter has been sent. I am worried why they are taking time.what if they could say you filled out the wrong name in the initial application so we decline your visa? could you clearify it how my case will be handled? it would give me a big relief as i am comming up with different views.
