Tier 2 ICT - CoS Issue

Hi,

I have a query regarding job title used in CoS.
I am employed as a Project Lead in an India based IT company. I need to travel to UK and will be working for a client in the profile of Senior Software Engineer.
My Company's UK branch is sponsoring me and have issued a CoS under Tier 2 ICT (Short term). The Job title mentioned in the CoS is "Programmer", which is lower in terms of responsibilities as compared to what I am employed for a Project Lead here in India.

My query is , is this permissible by UKBA ? Is it going to have any negative impact on my profile in future as it will get registered with UKBA as a programmer ?
