If you have a valid visa in your old name (correct one), then this might cause lead to questions (and possible delays) at the border.

If I were in your position, I would get it changed asap

I think its just a formatting issue and should not pose a problem.

If there is an interchange (Surname in place of Given Name and vice versa), you could face some questions.

If everything is a few mm below where it should be, that is just taken up as a printing error. Usually Passport issuing authorities check these before they hand-over the document and I guess yours got missed out somehow.

If you want to be at peace, you can go and ask them to correct it. They might say it will work, not an issue and you might need to push a bit. They might say it will cost X pounds and you have to then say that this is their error and why should you have to pay to correct it.
