Post by blue1987 » Tue Jan 03, 2012 5:04 pm

I am currently holding PSW visa which will be expire on 10 April. I bought myself a ticket going back to my country on 17 May. Will I face any problem when try to leave the uk border and also will I face any problem when I go back to my home country?

if caught, at uk immigration, your immig. history will be blemished and may affect your future entry clearance app to uk

it doesnt matter at the immigration desk of home country either way

1. Seriously i do not understnad why u have chosen to overstay u visa.
2. U had valid leave and shud leave before u visa expiry date.
3. Whatever the reasons are u shud leave before expiry.
4. It will affect u future applications without any doubts and u will have to declare it on the form for future visas.

As I am doing part time course in university which my course will only ended on 14 of May, and I cannot get my visa extension due to I am not in full time education. Besides, I had 2 exams on 10 and 11 of March, which make me impossible to leave uk border and come back as a visitor to complete my course.

1. You shud have thought about it before u started the course and check the exam dates.
2. Your option is to convert u course to full time (if institution allows and offer) and switch to student visa however, if from PSW u wud need to meet higher maintenance requirements otherwise leave the UK and apply for a visa from your home country.

I had thought about it before as I am in full time employment, was thinking of extending my PSW to tier 2 general visa but lately my employer told me that its unlikely that they want to sponsor me for the visa extension.

It really doesn't worth overstaying your visa. It will cause you endless problem in the future.

You can put application to extend your visa. Any application, by the time they reply to you either extension or refusal you will have finish your course.

If you don't qualify for any route you can even ask for discretion visa stating your predicament. The point is while you application is being considered you are still in the country legalyl.

Once you finish you course you can ask to withdraw your application.

Is it a good idea if I leave the UK border before my visa expire and come back in as a visitor to complete my studies and leave for goods? Any other suggestion?

you would have to come back as a student visitor. general visitors cannot study in the UK.

If you overstay more than 28 days you will attract a one year ban on future applications for entry clearance.
