Tier1(G)-ILR-Query on Salary & Dividend from Ltd Compa

Post by tommybiz » Thu Jan 12, 2012 12:18 am

Hi all,

I will be going for in-person appt in a weeks time for ILR and currently in Tier1 General. I'm a Director of my limited company and pay myself minimal salary on monthly basis but don't pay the dividend regularly (depending on the need will pay the dividend). During the last 12 months, have paid salary for 12 months and have received the divided for 2 times. My annual gross salary is less than 17K.

Queries that i'm having are
a. ILR application form, needs to know the monthly salary (Section 5 - Set O Form). What figure should be mentioned in this place
i) Should it be only the (annual salary/12) as monthly salary or
ii) Should it be (sum of Annual salary & Dividend/12) as monthly salary

b. In Annual income section, will be mentioning the sum of annual salary & dividend.

c. As well, during the tier1 extension was in permanent job with salary of 36K and as per the new ruling, pts will not be awarded for previous earning of less than 20k. Will this affect in my case, if the caseworkers consider only my income without dividend.

Do have the 12 months payslip, 2 dividend vouchers and letter from accountant as evidence along with the personal bank statement & company bank statement.

Confused on this bit  , as if I go with option a.i - payslip will be matching but it will be chance for rejection based on the annual income. (without dividend)
If i go with option a.ii, is it allowable and provide a separate excel with the salary details and dividend details.

Please advice and any input to clarify my doubts will be very much appreciated. If needed more details, please let me know.
Many thanks. - Tommy. :)
