Traffic Offence and PEO Application

Hi,

I have a speeding ticket dated back in Oct 2008 which had to be settled in court. This offence was declared in my initial Tier 1 application in March 2009 and the got the visa without any problems.

Now I am going for an extension at one of the PEOs, will this offence affect same day decision if everything else is fine?

If they are going to make extra checks anyway for this offence and withhold my application at the PEO- should I send the application by post?

Would be great if someone with similar experience share their thoughts?

I don't have a similar experience to share but I think an offence that did not affect the decision the first time shouldn't affect the second time as well.

That's just my personal thought. I would suggest you get legal advice on this in case you don't get relevant input from this board.

The best option would be to consult with an immigration solicitor in case you are ready to pay for the service. They would be able to give the legal angle on this and would also be able to provide any necessary documentation that you might need.
