Brother Visitor VISA UK (Self Status : HSMP ILR Granted)

Post by gurinderaux » Mon Jan 16, 2012 6:06 pm

Hello All,

I'm looking for my brother to apply for the Visitor VISA to UK; who is currently 23 and unemployed.

I'm in UK on HSMP and got my ILR stamped earlier.

Other background include my parents visited me last year on Visitor VISA.

I heard stories about embassy rejecting the UK VISA for youths apply in subcontinent on suspection of they might not return back.

I wonder if someone can put some light on issue/notes I have to take care before we push his application in India; ofcourse he has full intention of returning back.

Many Thanks

You will need to prove that your brother has every intention of returning back home. Rejections due to not proving strong enough ties to home country is not specific to the sub-continent and applies to anyone applying from anywhere.

Have a look at: Visiting the UK.

You will have a really hard time convincing anyone that your brother has strong ties to his home country without any employment.
