Help me Guys!!!!!!!!

Post by koolguykvs » Fri Jan 20, 2012 9:43 am

Hi,
I am in tensed situation right now. My company is ready to sponsor me but the thing is they have applied for sponsor license(after lot of hurdles) on 17th of this month. I have just 5 weeks before my visa expires. I am really in a tensed situation, no clue what to do. If the company gets the license with in time span then i will be the most happiest person. But my concern is all about if i dont get it in time. What do you guys suggest??

From few threads i got to know that some of them made an application without COS and got 28 days grace period within which they made Out of time application. Or else Just go back to your country and make out of country application (I have spoke about this with my manager but he is at the moment not 100% OK, because of RLMT test). Please Guide me guys. what do you think is best. And also please pray for me.

Thanks in advance :? :?

In my opinion, an out of country application entailing RMLT test is better than making an out of time application.
Yes, few employers would like to undertake a RMLT which is an additional burden, but with the UKBA giving specific instructions on how it is to be undertaken, it is a matter of understanding it well. Could you not check to see if they can already do an RMLT test, so this would already have been done in case you go for the restricted COS i.e. out of country one?

Thank you very much Sheffield_Marketeer.

The problem regarding RLMT is i dont have clear idea regarding this. I have just basic idea that one has to advertise the job. I have secured this job through Milkround which was advertised around September,2010. But the problem is i dont know for how long this was advertised. And also there was no salary mentioned in the advertisement.

Can you please explain how RLMT works, if they have already done correctly in 2010 do they still need to do it or can i use that evidence. If not what needs to done??

I would really appreciate you effort. Thank you.

Give this a good read:
http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/busin ... arkettest/

Also, the NHS has produced a guide on RMLT. read this too- http://www.nhsemployers.org/SiteCollect ... 150110.pdf

but obviously the UKBA site's stuff has the most weightage here

Good luck!

Thanks Marketeer,
I had a look at the links that you gave me. My job was advertised on Milkround, i dont think they have screenshots of that. It was also put on the companys website, which no longer exists. So apparently there is no evidence that job has been advertsied apart from few emails exchaged between HR and me.

If you think its better to do a RLMT again, what would be your valuble suggestion for me so that the company can easily get on this test. What would be the best procedure to follow for case like me, when comapny has already got the employer and has to attend the RLMT. Is there any workaround?? I am asking this question that you might have experienced/heard similar cases.

Thanks Again
