Im afraid the answer to your question is No.I was devastated and confused, did not know what to do and mostly was hoping that we might get back together.

The 2 year settlement visa you entered into the UK with is a "Wife" visa and the 2 year entry clearance given is a probationary period.Before the expiration of the visa your Husband (sponsor) is supposed to sponsor your application for ILR. Where you are no longer living with your husband you will invalidate the basis of being issued with an ILR because there is no longer a subsisting marriage relationship going on. Your Husband will have to consent to your application. The only compassionate grounds that could be considered by the HO is that of domestic violence, but it must have been reported to the Police (and a Crime Reference number obtained).
