You may find that the home was exempt from council tax if it was empty. You should seek advice from your local Citizens Advice Bureau. See here for information on council tax exemptions.

Given that the hearing is only in two days it may be worth going to explain the situation - they may find that you should not have had to pay the bill and therefore it will not going against you.

Yes it could effect your credit history - you will need to seek advice on this.

It shouldn't effect your application for ILR.
