Tier 1 (General) application Qualification Assessment

Post by rajlahari09 » Sun Feb 12, 2012 6:48 pm

Dear Forum Members,

Could some one clarify whether I have to provide evidence for Qualification assessment again(for the same qualification)when I am going for tier 1 extension Second time as I have provided evidence with my initial HSMP application.

I am raising this query since in the Tier 1 general form they mentioned evidence for qualification assessment as Evidence previously provided with the applicant’s initial Tier 1 (General) application, but not mentioned Initial HSMP at all.

It would be really grateful if some can clarify my doubt as earliest.

Regrads,
Raj

If this is your second extension, you can submit the same evidence of Qualificaiton you submitted the first/second time. It is advised to submit the original document for qualification again, though the qualificaiton is in the list of the recognised degrees of UKBA.

Tier 1 (General) application Qualification Assessment

Post by rajlahari09 » Sun Feb 12, 2012 7:28 pm

Thanks for the reply Sb2009, but if select evidences as 2 options
which are :
1.Original certificate of award
2. Evidence previously provided with the applicant’s initial Tier 1 (General) application

It might lead confusion to the case worker.

Rather select as option 2, then CW can cross check the evidences provided previously(First Tier 1 extension and Initial HSMP). What do you recommend about this? and more over they mentioned the same in Tier1 general guidance in Page no 14 and paragraph 69 mentioned about the previous evidences as well.

Please could some one advice me on this.

Regards,
Raj

I think both should be same, if i am correct.

The evidence previously submitted would have been an original degree certificate. And you have to submit the same original (not a photo copy) certificate now.

If you have studied here and got another degree here in UK, then you can submit the UK degree. But I am not sure of which degree (initial one, or the one you got in UK) you can submit in this case, maybe others can give you more details.

Tier 1 (General) application Qualification Assessment

Post by rajlahari09 » Sun Feb 12, 2012 8:45 pm

Thanks for the response. I submitted previously original degree(Masters) as part of my initial HSMP application. And I have not done any degree here or any where afterwards.

If I need to submit degree(Master) as well, then I would submit the same degree(which I submit as part of HSMP).

But my only concern what is the necessity to provide again(which is already assessed as part of my initial HSMP application), which is again extra documentation and confusion in my view.

It would be appreciated if any Advices and recommendations.

Regards,
Raj
