College Close so apply again - how much money to show

Hi
A friend of mine college has been closed recently and it seems he will not get any refund of his tuition fees.

He has visa stamped till Mar 2014, But he get the letter from UKBA to leave the country before 06 APR 2012 or apply again.

If he want to apply again so how much money he has to show for him and his spouse?
