Tier2 Dependent visa-unable to book online appointment

Post by liewanne » Fri Feb 24, 2012 4:12 pm

I have submitted dependant visa application on Feb7th for my baby girl, who is now 9months old. We need to fly back home to Kuala Lumpur on March 19th to attend a wedding.

Received the letter to book biometrics appointment for my baby on 23rd Feb. But unable to book online since yesterday. no number to call and book, cant do walk in in post office as she is under 6 years old.

I am worry and do not know what to do. Should I email the home office to return passport, while considering our application?

Please advise, thank you.

What is the phone number? Is it 0870 6067766. In the UKBA website, it said this "Do not phone this number to book a biometric appointment for a postal application in any other circumstances." Mine is a postal application, for my baby girl!

Been ringing this number but no answered for many hours!

Thank you for your help again Gupta. I just managed to book an appointment via the telephone at 920am (sun). The appointment is booked for 28th Feb at Liverpool..

Am wondering whether I will be able to get the passport back on time before our departure date on 19th March. It is only a dependent visa for my baby that I am applying for, very straight forward as baby is born in the UK, and I have submitted all the relevant documents with sufficient fund too. Let's hope and pray. I will keep all of you posted of the timeline. Thank you once again!

@liewanne. Did you ask if you can go postoffice instead of attending PEO?
