60 months calculation

Post by simply simple » Fri Feb 24, 2012 8:13 pm

Hi Friends,

I arrived in Ireland in Jan 2008, next year I am going to apply for LTA and citizenship. I used to go for vaction to my home country every year for around 4 weeks. Do I exclude those vacation period when calculating 60 months or 60 months has to be calculated on the basis of my GNIB card stamps?
PS: Last year I went to my home country for 3 months with my 3 year old daughter, on my return immigration dept took my details and informed child benefit section about it. Later I had to re submit forms like habitual residence form and child benefit form. Considering this fact in mind mustn't I exclude these 3 months when calculation 60 months stay?

Thanks
