ILR - falling short of 2 months

Post by LKan » Sun Feb 26, 2012 1:31 pm

I got my HSMP Visa on April10th 2008 and I landed in UK on June13th 2008. i.e I landed in UK 2 months after i received my VISA.

I applied for extension in 2010 and my visa is valid till April 10th 2013.

questions :

1) Do I have to apply my extension in April and then apply for ILR in June.

2) Or Can I directly apply for ILR ?

No

As per modernised guidance, as you have entered UK within 3 months of getting Visa, you can apply for ILR upto 28 days before April 10 2012.
