Hi,
I am posting this question on behalf of my friend. Sorry if I have posted this in the incorrect category.
My friend, lets say Mr X, came to this country as a student and he did part time work in one retail store. He was receiving around £580 each month after tax. After some time he resigned from the workplace and got a new job(part time) and was receiving around same amount but in different instalments as he was only getting commission. But the new employer has been transferring the money to his accounts but he think employer hasn't deducted any tax.(Mr X never received anything higher than £700 and most of the time he was getting £400-£500 which he didn't mind as he was receiving money from his parents(which he always proved that when he was extending his visa to UKBA).
Now he is in dependant visa and has resigned from that place and looking for a new job. So when he gets a new job(full time) and he wants to supply the p45(not sure) which received when he resigned from retail store to the new employer.
He was working for the second company for 4 years.
1) Will he be in trouble regarding any tax payments as he really wants to work and pay tax in legitimate manner.
2) Any other matters my friend should consider?
Cheers
