Payslip Dilemma

Post by marcada » Sun Feb 26, 2012 11:05 pm

I'm up for extension in May. I was working full time, but was short £2500 to get 30 points from previous earning. So, I started contracting using Umbrella company from Dec-Feb and made up for the amount I need. Now I am preparing my document, I realise that the payslip issued by Umbrella company doesn't seems formal. Although it has company logo, it is standard A4 size and look more like online payment advise.

Now I have two options
1) ask my umbrella company to stamp and sign my payslip
2) ask for letter from umbrella company with each payment detail

Not sure, which one will be the best.
But I think I can convince my umbrella to write letter. Any sugggestion or prior experience?

Any of the suggested option should work.

Check around half way down on this link to the DirectGiv website on what a payslip should contain. Payslips come in all shapes and sizes but as long as they contain the following information then you may not even have to worry about your options (of course you'll be in the best position to answer this however as you can see what you've been given by the umbrella company!)
