PBS t1 Dependent .. acknowledgment Not Received .. help

Hi,

I have applied for T1 dependent visa for my kid on 1st Feb. Money came out from my bank account on 3rd Feb but we have not received any acknowledgment letter from HO.

Do they normally send the acknowledgment letter once the money will be deducted?

Typically it might take from 1 to 6 weeks for Biometric invitation letter and you get the acknowledgement letter within 4 weeks as well.

Sometimes (rarely) you may just get the Biometric letter and no Ack letter.

You don't have an option, you have to be patient and need to wait. UKBA will not answer any queries unless your application has been pending for more than 6 months.
