Your question makes no sense. It would be a letter from Naric to confirm that the qualification was equivalent to a bachelor degree. What is the intended purpose of this; are you hoping to apply for an immigration category that requires a bachelor degree?

So, according to the guidance, that is all you need. You don't need a supporting letter. It's not for the University to say that the degree was taught in English nor would that, by itself, be acceptable.

In reality, all you need from the University is:

If an applicant claims that they have completed an academic qualification taught in English, they must provide the original academic qualification certificate (provisional academic qualification certificates are not acceptable), showing:
• the applicant’s name;
• the title of award;
• the date of award; and
• the name of the awarding institution

The UKBA will then look for this on the points calculator to see if UK Naric confirms it was taught in English. Otherwise, if it's not on the points-calculator you will have to contact Naric directly and get a letter of confirmation.

Hi,

I have the same confusion. Could you please let me know what documents you finally submitted for the English language requirement.

Thanks

yet to submit docs.

but for english lang requirement, since my wife has done her degree that is equivalent to UK Masters (UK NARIC), i am planning to attach her original certificates + letter from uni saying she has completed her studies and the instruction was English.

Other member, please post your thoughts.

Thanks
