am subject to immigration and my partner is filling the benefit form. will i have to sigh it.

the form is for working tax credit and child tax credit

In respect of a couple living together the claim must be made jointly, the income of both of the couple disclosed, and both sign.

Your partner? Are they British? If not, what is their UK immigration status?
