Settlement Visa Help (UK)

Post by Thinking » Wed Feb 29, 2012 4:51 am

Dear Sir/Madam

My name is Saira Habib Ahmed and i am a British National currently visiting Pakistan to attend my Mother's funeral who passed away on 10 Feb 2012.

My purpose of writing is to know about the process and eligibility for sponsoring my Brother who is in Pakistan and suffering from Schizophrenia which is a brain disorder. My brother named Masood Ali was living with my Mother and was completely dependent on her but Unfortunately now that she has passed away, he is all alone and needs my support.

Please let me know what i should do for him as i am very worried since he will not be able to take care of himself alone here in Pakistan. I don't want to leave him here so i have decided to apply for his visa as my dependent so that i can bring him to UK with me.

I have 2 daughters under 15 and my husband living with me in London.

Please let me know as to what should i do in this regard as my daughter's education is suffering because of my stay in Pakistan but on the other hand, i am unable to leave my Brother alone.

Your help in this regard will be much appreciated.

Saira Habib Ahmed

Hi saira,

really sorry for your loss, surely the whole situation must be very difficult for you. i dnt really know much about dependent visas but he's family as long as you can show the means to take care of him, i am sure u could get a visa for him.

hopefully one of the moderatots will be able to help you out better.
