hello,

for ilr dependant visa, can i get my passport certified by solicitor in the UK or does it have to notary public ? please let me know as i need to get it today

Not quite sure about this.

If you are applying for a visa you need to submit original passports and photocopies. I am not sure about this particular visa category but for our SET (M) application both of our passports and ordinary photocopies had to be submitted.

Certified copies alone were not acceptable.
