P60 - Do we need submit the one on original HMRC letterhead

Post by ashvar123 » Fri Mar 02, 2012 12:00 am

Guys,

My accountant has submitted my P35 for this year..

Because I come under taxcode 747L which does not attract NI or PAYE, he could actually submit online and got the P60 which is not on official HMRC letterhead.

Can I show a online print of P60.. is that acceptable..

I see no reason why?
As long as P60 generated is on approved HMRC stationery/print-out and shows all necessary details then it will be an acceptable P60.
I know accountants use different pay roll software and the output (or format of it) might differ from one package to another, but as far as I can see, if the package used is an approved HMRC list of third party pay roll solution then you will be alright.
