Will Current Holders of PSW affected by change in April 2012

Could someone confirm that the current holders of PSW will NOT be affected by the change in April 2012?

I just flew into the UK with PSW and the immigration officer told me that it is expiring next month, and I got confused. My PSW is valid until December 2013 and I would like to confirm that I can stay in the UK and look for a job beyond April 2012. But I cannot find a solid source for this. Please help. Thank you.

I strongly believe the immigration officer meant PSW visas route will be discontinued in April 2012. Current holders of PSW visas won't be affected with the change.

You don't need to worry as your leave until Dec 2013 will not be impacted. No new application for PSW will be accepted from April.
