Not Enough Supported Documents

Post by sarhad12 » Fri Mar 02, 2012 8:11 pm

I went with my wife for her ilr today and i had put quiet few letters of her stay in uk but the officer said i need to show my proof and i showed birth ceritficate of baby, my driving licence and british passport, my self employed accountant letter, my temp job letter for census along with p60 from census with name and address plus tax and income shown, 3 bank statements joint account,

he said its ok for wife they need my docuemnt then he said i need to send this to liverpool within 14 days and since i had given 2 duplicate statements i wonder if now in liverpool it makes case more complicated? a letter from bank i sent now along with other docuemnts since the officer didnt take that for some reason..

my query now will she be granted visa or not im worried.ILR

I have not even claimed child benefit due to her case still strugling

Your question is not very clear.

What is your immigration status (ILR or a British Citizen) ?

And did you go only for your Wife’s ILR today ?

Unlike ILR applications based on Tier-1 and other work related categories, the cohabitation rules for spouse visa are very strict and you need to have certain number of documents on your wife’s name.

On this forum, you will find loads of posts on this topic and I am sure as soon as you send the missing documents, your case will still be processed faster than postal applications.

I was told by the caseworker he needed to see 3 official documents on my name but on letter he gave stated both of ours confusing,, anyways i sent in my gp card, electricity bill, gas bill and my census employee p60 letter dated from october 2010 to november 2011 which was requested..

These documents are in between these dates i hope she will be granted ilr its really upseting i even sent my recipt for sameday serrvice.... i did read somewere that sameday service if documents are missing you can rebook within 24 hours but this wasnt the case he instead sent my documents from croydon to liverpool..
