Visa requirement for new Born to travel outside UK

Hello Experts,

I am an Indian national, working and living in UK as Tier1 General visa holder. My wife holds Tier 1 general dependent Visa. Our visa is valid until mid July 2012.

we are expecting our first baby to be born in UK in May 2012. We have few queries as below.

1) Can our new born travel out of UK with us without his/her Passport? If yes, what set of document would we need.

2) In case we decide not to extend our visas, I do not think we would have sufficient time to get our new born issued a visa before our visa expires. Can our new born travel out of UK with us without his/her UK Visa? What set of other documents would be required in this case?

Is visa and passport valid for a new born to travel outside UK?

1) everyone needs a passport to travel including newborns.
2) there is no need for a visa to exit the UK. He will need a visa to re-enter the UK if you decide to return.
