Wage slips and passport: Spouse Visa

Post by jalebi » Sun Mar 04, 2012 10:15 pm

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to ask the following things in regards to a spouse visa..

Firstly, is it acceptable to provide 5 months wage slips from your last employer and an employment letter (stating your new contract) from your new employer?

This being said, could a CV that shows you have previously been working full time jobs over many years with no unemployed gaps, serve as a boost?

Secondly, how long does it take to make a passport in Pakistan?

Wage slips should be fine. I had a few from previous employer and one by my new employer accompanied with a letter of employment and had no issues.

Passport is 1 or 2 weeks depending on which service you pay for.
